Educación/Investigación Expandida

By febrero 26, 2017marzo 21st, 2023No Comments

In this workshop we will ask the following questions: How is neoliberalism redefining the purpose and meaning of education? What impact does the application of the instrumental logic of the market have on the educational process? How do these policies affect teachers and students? What should be our goals, our priorities, and under what conditions? What leeway  do educators have? Are there alternative pedagogical models? What is expanded education and expanded research? What are community participation projects? How can we integrate these different practices in our fields of work and in our courses? What examples of such projects can we share? What new courses could we create? What other materials could we study and adopt in our classes to enhance critical awareness and citizen awareness?

This workshop will explore these questions and propose alternatives with the collaboration of various guests. The first two days we will work together with invited groups. On the third day we will work together to create a map of what will be the educational repository of the ALCESXXI website, so that in the future, we can share new ideas, models, teaching materials and projects.
